The administrative offices are open from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. The Administrative Department consists of five employees including the Town Administrator, Town Clerk, Administrative Assistant, Support Services I and Support Services II positions.
This department is responsible for the day to day operations of the Town and Municipal Center. These functions include contract administration, code enforcement, personnel management, and emergency preparedness, public information, planning and zoning coordination with Charleston County Planning & Zoning. The administrative department is also responsible for the promotion of Arts Council Events.
The administrative department is the first line of contact for property owners and customers. The administrative department responds to requests for information, inquiries and residents' complaints.
