Clarification on Dwelling Units
A question was asked concerning the proposed development agreement concerning dwelling units. The question as I remember it was:How many dwelling units does the KIGR presently have with the existing zoning ordinance, and how many additional dwelling units will this agreement allow?
Present zoning would allow the KIGR to replace the 150 guest bedrooms in the old inn, and an addition to the Sanctuary including 255 guest bedrooms.
Present zoning also allows 143 dwelling units.
The proposed development agreement would allow a maximum of 1010 bedrooms, or an additional 605 bedrooms. If you measure dwelling units an additional 350 dwelling units would be allowed.
Please note that the maximum bedroom count, the additional 605 bedrooms are included in the total dwelling units, in other words no matter the final count of dwelling units that are built, the KIGR cannot exceed the 1010 bedroom count.
I hope this answers the question.
Sincerely,
Bill Wert
